Monitoring and Alerting

OpsAnt integrates with Prometheus / Alertmanager to provide alert events, alert rules, and monitoring charts.

Before use, you need to complete the configuration in "System Settings - Prometheus Integration". See Prometheus Integration.

Alert Events

  • View active Prometheus alerts (firing / pending)
  • View alerts processed by Alertmanager (grouping, silencing, notification)
  • Filter by status and keyword

Alert Rules

  • Read-only view of Prometheus alert rule groups and rule statuses
  • View a rule's alert name, alert severity, PromQL expression, and duration
  • Built-in rules cannot be deleted

Monitoring Charts

  • Query and display metric charts based on Prometheus
  • Select host, metric, and time range
  • Multiple display types such as line charts / area charts

Host Metric Collection

After a host is onboarded, the platform automatically registers it with Consul, and Prometheus scrapes accordingly:

  • Basic metrics (CPU, memory, disk, network)
  • Richer metrics provided by node_exporter

Tips

  • Alert severities (critical / warning / info) are indicated by different colors
  • When no data is displayed, first check Prometheus connectivity and host management status
