After logging in, the dashboard displays an overview of the platform. Please first confirm that the following basic capabilities are ready:
- Prometheus integration: Go to "System Settings - Prometheus Integration" and confirm that the Prometheus / Alertmanager addresses have been automatically written (one-click install configures this automatically)
- AI configuration (optional): Go to "System Settings - AI Configuration", fill in the API Key and test model retrieval, and enable the AI assistant
Onboard the First Host¶
OpsAnt supports three onboarding methods. It is recommended to start with OpsMini Agent (no passwordless access required, smoothest experience):
Method 1: OpsMini Agent (Recommended)¶
- Go to the "Host Management" page and click "Onboard Host"
- Select the "OpsMini" method
- Run the install command generated by the platform on the target host to install the OpsMini Agent
- After the Agent reports in, the host will appear in the "Pending Onboarding" list
- Click "Approve Onboarding" to complete the integration
Method 2: SSH¶
- Go to the "Host Management" page and click "Onboard Host"
- Fill in the target host's IP, SSH port, and account (password / key supported)
- After saving, tasks can be executed through the Ansible engine
Method 3: SaltStack Agent¶
- Install salt-minion on the target host and point it to the platform's salt-master
- Onboard the host in "Host Management"
Verification¶
After onboarding is complete, select the host on the "Script Execution" page and execute a simple command (such as echo hello). If it returns normally, the integration is successful.
